中華大學（前身為中華工學院）位於新竹市。於 1990 年加入政府的「發展高科技，建設新竹科學城」政策。1997 年獲准更名為「中華大學」。由資訊電機工程學院、管理學院、建築設計學院、人文社會科學學院、觀光學院、創新產業學院等六個學院組成的綜合性大學，現有教職員約 380 人，平均年收入101萬元。
Chung Hua University (formerly Chung Hua University of Technology) is located in Hsinchu City. It joined the government’s policy of "Developing High Technology and Constructing Hsinchu Science City" in 1990. It was approved to be renamed "Chung Hua University" in 1997. A comprehensive university of six colleges including the School of Information and Electrical Engineering, the School of Management, the School of Architecture and Design, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Tourism, and the School of Innovation Industry, there are about 380 faculty colleagues, with an average income of 1.01 million.
