Employment policy modern slavery

針對所謂童工問題,除了本國的勞動基準法第44條的規定外,本校1998年職員工聘辦法制定以來,即要求聘任職員工學歷要求至少專科以上,即使少部分辦法中所列聘任國中學歷之技佐,亦要求須具備5年以上工作經驗,即已達到不聘用童工之政策。
To address the so-called child labor issue, in addition to the provisions of Article 44 of the Labor Standards Law of the R.O.C., the CHU, since the enactment of the Staff Employment Regulations in 1998, has required that staff members with at least a college degree or higher be employed, and even for a small number of technicians with a junior high school diploma as listed in the Regulations, the requirement is for them to have more than five years of work experience, which is to say, it has already fulfilled its policy not to employ child laborers.

本校為遵循公平、公正、客觀原則辦理聘任,特於1998年訂定之中華大學職員工聘任辦法,且符合本國勞動基準法之規範。
In order to follow the principles of fairness, impartiality, and objectivity in the appointment process, CHU formulated the Employment Regulations for CHU staff in 1998, which are in compliance with the Labor Standards Law of Taiwan.

2017年的主要修訂為會計主任聘任程序須由校長提經學校法人董事會會議通過後任免之。
The major amendment for 2017 is the procedure for the appointment and removal of the Accounting Officer, which shall be proposed by the Principal and approved by the Board of Directors of the School Corporation at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the School Corporation.
