Academic freedom policy

主要在凝聚共識,建立共同的道德倫理規範,教師於治學處事時應有之基本態度與做法,這種道德層次的自律,符合大學自主的精神,真正維護學術尊嚴,希望本校教師應藉此相互勉勵,以期達到教育之目的與社會之期許。
The main focus is on building consensus and establishing common moral and ethical norms. The basic attitudes and practices that teachers should adopt in the conduct of their studies. This level of moral self-discipline is in keeping with the spirit of university autonomy and truly upholds academic dignity. It is hoped that our teachers will encourage each other to achieve the goals of education and the expectations of society.

本校充分維護大學自治及自主的精神,於本校所制定之教師倫理守則中,明訂賦予教師行使學術自由的權利與義務,同時能維繫共同的學術倫理規範及尊嚴,使本校教師藉此相互勉勵,達到教育之目的及社會的期許。另本校每年度辦理一場學術倫理研習會,藉以宣導教師應秉持學術自由的基本精神,發揮「傳道、授業、解惑」之功能,達成傳授知識及培養學生獨立思考能力的目標。
CHU fully upholds the spirit of university autonomy and self-governance. The Code of Ethics for Teachers, established by CHU, provides for the rights and responsibilities of teachers in the exercise of academic freedom. At the same time, the University maintains a common academic code of ethics and dignity, through which our teachers encourage each other to achieve the goals of education and the expectations of society. In addition, the school organizes an academic ethics seminar every year to promote the basic spirit of academic freedom among teachers. We will also fulfill the function of "preaching, teaching, and solving problems" in order to achieve the goals of imparting knowledge and cultivating students' ability to think independently.

2011年,全校所有文件統一更改成ISO版本。
In 2011, all documents were uniformly changed to ISO versions across the university
