綠色永續理念 Green sustainability concept
為了呼應農業部的生態造林理念，中華大學以USR第三期計畫，從新埔鎮新北社區、北平、南平社區為示範區，希望鼓勵退休茶農將休耕的茶園提供做為山林復育與保育場域，而同時老茶農亦能獲得由企業提供之生態林維護管理費回饋，得以安心在地養老。
To echo the ecological afforestation concept of the Ministry of Agriculture, Chung Hwa University uses the third phase of the USR project, starting from Xinpu Town, Beiping, and Nanping communities as demonstration areas, hoping to encourage retired tea farmers to provide fallow tea gardens as forest restoration and conservation sites. At the same time, old tea farmers can also receive feedback on ecological forest maintenance and management fees provided by the company, so they can retire in peace and contentment.

宣示2040達成碳中和目標 Declare the goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2040
2023年12月20日這天，中華大學校長劉維琪簽署「碳中和目標宣示書」，宣布校園將實踐2040年達成完全碳中和的目標，配合政府淨零政策，推動綠色、低碳校園永續發展！
