本校自我定位為「優質教學」與「產學鏈結」的雙導向之大學,於中長程校務發展策略「產學鏈結」下,規劃「產學加值計畫」,推展務實研究風氣,以精進專業與應用研究。除鼓勵教師積極爭取國科會專題研究計畫外,亦加強推動產學合作及落實技術移轉,透過相關機動與迅速的產學互動服務,提升產學合作績效,以落實本校產學鏈結之自我定位。
CHU has positioned itself as a university with a dual orientation of "quality teaching" and "industry-academia linkage". Under the medium- and long-term university development strategy of "industry-academia linkage", CHU has planned the "Industry-academia value-added program" to promote a pragmatic research culture in order to refine professional and applied research. In addition to encouraging faculty members to actively compete for NSC research projects, the university has also strengthened the promotion of industry-academia cooperation and technology transfer, and enhanced the performance of industry-academia cooperation through relevant mechanisms and rapid industry-academia interaction services, in order to realize the university's self-positioning as an industry-academia linkage.
